Since vinegar is excellent is pulling calcium (as well as other minerals) out of plants, you can create an herbal mineral vinegar to use throughout the fall, winter, and early spring to support bone health.


Below are some plants that are rich in calcium, chose one or make a blend. Have fun with it!


  • Chickweed (Stellaria media)

  • Dandelion leaves and roots (Taraxacum officinale)

  • Plantain leaves (Plantago major)

  • Mint family plants (peppermint, spearmint, catnip, lemon balm, sage, basil, thyme)

  • Nettle (Urtica dioica)

  • Parsely (Petroselinum crispum)

  • Raspberry leaf (Rubus ideaus)

  • Red Clover flowers (Trifolium pratense)

  • Yellow dock (Rumex crispus)
