Ingredients:
Elderberry, Rose Hips, Burdock Root, Cloves, Ginger Root, Cinnamon Stick
Local Honey (not included)
Directions:
~Add 4 cups water to a pot, adding in herbs.
~Simmer herbs for an hour.
~Strain herbs through a mesh colander.
~Add 3 cups water to a pot, putting herbs back into the pot.
~Simmer herbs for 45 minutes.
~Strain herbs through a mesh colander.
~Add 2 cups water to a pot, putting herbs back into pot.
~Simmer herbs for 30 minutes.
~Strain herbs through a mesh colander.
~Pour liquid into a 32 oz. container and add in 1/4 cup fresh local honey (not included) and stir.
Keep Elderberry Syrup in the fridge. It should be discarded after 3 months as well as cycling off of the syrup for at least a month.
Recommended 1 tablespoon daily.
*PLEASE NOTE: Very toxic unless cooked and strained! Please do not consume raw berries! Cycle off of the syrup every 3 months.
